Bali Beans Coffee & Co successfully held an exclusive cupping session with international coffee expert Willem Boot on Wednesday 20 and Thursday 21 May 2026. This event took place in two locations, namely Bali Beans Umalas on Wednesday and Bali Beans Plantation on Thursday.
This activity is not only a place to taste specialty coffee, but also part of Bali Beans Coffee & Co's efforts to encourage sustainable coffee farming and direct trade as the future of the Indonesian coffee industry.
The event presented local farmers, the coffee community, the media, and specialty coffee lovers. The discussion highlighted the importance of building a coffee farming system that is able to produce the best quality while maintaining the health of farmers, soil, water, and the surrounding environment.
The spirit of "reduce chemicals, use natural methods" is the basis that the company continues to encourage in sustainable coffee farming practices. This approach is done by minimizing the use of harmful chemicals and introducing more natural and environmentally friendly farming methods.
